Your Health Deserves More Than Guesswork

Your health deserves more than guesswork.

"For more than 25 years, I've worked with athletes, executives, and individuals who want more from their health and performance."

"One thing I've learned is that what we measure can help guide what we improve. We spend so much time tracking workouts, nutrition, sleep, and recovery — but often overlook the everyday materials we interact with."

"My goal is to help you understand your habits, make informed choices, and determine whether an additional level of testing could be valuable."

Education & Trust

Understanding microplastics starts with better questions.

What are microplastics?

Microplastics are tiny plastic fragments, fibers, and particles — generally under 5 millimeters — that form as larger plastics break down or are produced for specific uses. They have been reported in oceans, soil, drinking water, food, and household dust, and researchers are actively studying where and how people encounter them.

How might you encounter them?

Common sources researchers examine include food and beverage packaging, single-use and reusable plastic containers, bottled water, food storage, takeout containers, household products, and environmental dust. Heating food in plastic and repeated contact with plastic surfaces are also areas of study.

Why are scientists studying them?

Research is investigating possible health effects of microplastic exposure, but individual clinical implications, safe exposure thresholds, and the utility of personal testing remain uncertain. No one can currently say that a specific level causes a specific outcome. Science is still working to understand what, if anything, the measurements mean for an individual.

What can you actually do?

Practical, low-risk steps include reducing single-use plastics, transferring food to glass or ceramic before heating, choosing glass or stainless steel storage and bottles, using verified water filtration, and paying attention to everyday packaging. None of these is a guarantee of removing microplastics from the body, but informed habits are a reasonable place to start.

We cite credible sources and major public-health organizations. We do not use exaggerated disease claims, detox promises, or guarantees that any intervention removes microplastics from the body.
